Greina Haute Route

High valleys deserted by man, mountain flanks that are not yet crisscrossed by ski tracks even after days. Does that still exist? Yes, in the area between Val Lumnezia and the Medelser Group in the Greina.

The whole splendor of the Greina plateau spreads out before us. A tundra that could also be in Siberia. Untouched, lonely. Not a sound. Not even an animal track.

This will be a ski crossing off the beaten track.
